My page has close to nothing but a good friend of mine puts a bit of work into his.

He has some car and some motorcycle stuff. We’re both ID majors, I think it’s real cool that he’s out making his own brand. I might have to rip him off and try and do this myself.
Figured I could give him some publicity on here. It’s good to have close friends in the design world.

I might check it out. I’m looking at Auburn’s ID program soon, as well as a Design with an emphasis in Digital Media program at TN Tech. I’m also planning on looking at Georgia Tech’s sometime.

Auburn is like the best in the south, so if you can get in and afford it I’d go for it.
App is great for someone with no portfolio with design going in (NC state and Auburn required one). It’s also pretty cheap for me instate. If you want to come visit I have an open bed and a few design classes a day you can some sit in on.

It’s also a relatively new program, we just celebrated 10 years back in February. It’s gaining recognition every year. Not up there with State and Auburn yet, but it’s going that direction.

Unless TN Tech gets an ID program, I’m really leaning towards Auburn. They have such a beautiful campus, and the program seems great. Most of my portfolio is graphic design rather than ID, which is why the other program at Tech interests me. I’ll just have to talk with my parents about visiting App because we’ve already planned a bunch of college visits, and all my breaks this year are gonna be pretty packed.

I had mostly 3d animation in high school, not 3d technical models. Yeah, I’d go to Auburn if you can get in and afford it (pretty pricey). The Tech program seems cool to, I just wouldn’t compromise on your dreams.
I got in to a private college in Raleigh with a $12,000 scholarship but that was for animation and 3d game creation, but it wasn’t what I wanted to do. If you’re considering ID it’s a really cool major and definitely worth looking into. I don’t think the Tech program would necessarily be compromising because Graphic Design was my dream before I found out about ID and I really like both. And personally I am into the technical models rather than the animation. I’ll definitely hit you up if I have any questions. Thanks a bunch!
